Has anybody ever seen the movie Princess Bride? I was wondering why don't guys ever say "As you Wish" anymore. I am a hopeless romantic and am wondering why guys just aren't like that anymore. HMMM... Wesley would do anything to win the love of Princess Buttercup. Were are those guys these day????? Whats the most extreme thing a man has done to win your love?

The Princes Bride is one of my all time favorite movie... i even have a dvd... i think most guys would say this "As you wish" phrase only when they are courting a girl... but after the courtship... the phrase would soon disappear...this is from my own personal experience... men like the love of Buttercup are so rare right now... but everytime we find them... they are either married, a catholic priest, or gay...but i still love the movie and i never get tired watching it...

OMG! I so love that movie. I especially loved the fighting scene between the Spaniard and Westley. Their comments were hilarious. But my real favorite character there was Andre the Giant. He's slow in a smart way. And it's cute the way he can rhyme stuff.
Here in my country, I still see lots of guys who are romantic when they're in love. It's just that instead of saying it out loud, they usually express themselves through text messages or emails. But it's the thought that counts, right?
The other day I sent an email for my aunt because she's unfamiliar with how those things go. She's visiting us right now and she just wants to send a message to her husband who's in LA. Her husband had this one line in his reply that I literally swooned at. It was, "Yours and yours alone and waiting for your return." So sweet! They've been together for 40 years now.

I love that movie. Of course, my kids think that it's just too funny and rhyme for days after watching it. You just have to find the right guy that says "As You Wish" in their own way. Although I think they are harder to find now a days.
