Why Men go astray?

My personal view is that a lot depends on the individual and I have know a lot of men who were 'faithful' to their relationships. I think the ones that do stray tend to be ones who are insecure with themselves and are more looking for and 'ego' bust more than anything else.

Absolutely faith.You are right with the ego trip or machochism of these men getting astray.Although some few are honest and faithful to their relationship, it's when the test of lust sets in when this faithfulness is tested.
One of my Irish colleague used to tease me saying, when one is married and he did not meet variety of women yet and would have an interest to his dream girl...he compared it to going in a restaurant ordering for a menu he not sure of the taste but when he'd seen his friends' food being served and more palatable than he regrets ordering it. Only thing is in the restaurant, it is easy to change the food you ordered, unlike marriage, divorce or annulment is a tedious and heartbreaking process!

Oh I like your Irish friend's message and agree - particularly with younger men I can see this being the case.

Very applicable to this situation faith.Also, I am reminded of the saying,"There are infact different kinds of fish in the ocean".
