i like to sing a lot, expecially when i am taking a bath. this is my way of relaxation.
however, some people think that singing in the washroom is kinda rude. and my roomate thinks it is annoying and drives her crazy.
what do you think? should i stop having fun in the bath?

I tend to sing in the shower more than in the bath. It's good fun though. I wouldn't want to stop. I sing in the bath occasionally, but not so much since I embarrassed myself; I was overheard singing, "Rubber duckie, you're the one!" to my duckie.

well in my case singing in the bath makes my brothers makes easily irritated. that's why i already stop singing since singing is not my strong point lol.
well if you are having fun, go ahead, however we should always consider our roommates or housemates...

i agree, though it's always hard to choose when interests between different people conflict

If any of your habit is irritating to others then its better to try to stop this. Singing is really a way to get relax and its very good relaxation method but you can rather choose to sing in any other place where there are no such people who are not annoyed by your song. Enjoy life and let others enjoy life.

Same here!... I also love singing in the washroom... it feels good, especially when you hear your voice aloud and can hit the high notes right?... but when i'm in a public houe such as dormitories, i dont sing aloud in the wachroom so that i could not disturb anybody...

i think that is the only place where i sing. As you said its a kind of relaxation. I do not sing loudly that others get disturbed becz of my bathroom concert. Its a better place to sing especially those with bad singing voice like me as no one will judge u or laugh at you.. lol..

I think that tub time is your time and you should do WHATEVER you want in your tub ;) I wish i had a bathtub!! we just have one of those big tiled showers, i mean i COULD fill it up and soak the bottom is big enough, but doens't look like it would be very comfortable at all, and the grouting in the tiles doesn't look the cleanest either even after scrubbing them till my fingers are sore, that dull mildew stuff just doesn't come off very well.

I sing while I have a bath. I do make up the words, and it is mostly a missmatch of every tune that I know and it is mostly la la las and da da das, but it is singing just the same. I guess if you substitute la la las, da da das, and ma la ma las for the words your roommate will not mind or maybe you are getting the words wrong..

Sometimes I do. I don't see why anyone would have to complain about this.

lol I too like to sing in the bath or shower. I find it fun and I love the echo sound the bathroom gives my voice. lol but as for your roommate I guess you might have to put of singing until she is gone.

I'm not one to sing in the bath. I like to read. That's how I relax.

i don't find it rude, well, not unless if you started singing under the shower at midnight when everyone is so fast asleep.
i love singing under the shower too. the sound of the water gushing down blends well with my voice, whatever song i'm singing. the only downside is, it takes me longer to finish. rather than the usual 20 mins, it takes me almost 1 hour. LOL.
go ahead, sing your heart out.

What's a pity.I think it's not a problem to communicate with your roommate.Maybe you can sing the songs that she like them too.Otherwise, you can select a new way to relax youself.Anyway,I don't think it's wrong to have fun at any moment but to select a proper way.

I love to sing in the shower. Everyone knows that you sound better in the shower because of the small space and the echo. It makes you sing really well! I enjoy doing it yes but since I usually work night shift, when I get home very early in the morning I have to be as quiet as possible because my boyfriend's asleep so I can't really sing in the shower all of the time. I also like singing in my car. That's fun too.

Usually when I am in the bath I'm watching a favorite tv program or listening to music. Those water proof gadgets are amazing and sure do brighten up and make having a bath or shower alot of fun. My girls love it as well. So it sure does help out alot.
