I'm in Alabama (USA) and right now it is 28 degrees Fahrenheit (-2.222 Celsius). That's pretty cold to me! I'm used to snow and such since I'm originally from Massachusetts where we normally had below zero weather but since I've been in AL the past 4 years... 28 feels like -28 to me now!!! Does it get very cold where you live?

not really since our country is near equator and it is a tropical country which means our weather is not going to be too much cold or even too hot... i'm here in the Philippines

Are you kidding me? It does get too hot in the Philippines. Especially when you are in crowded cities like Cebu and Manila.

We can be 20 degrees one day, and 50, like today, the next. But we stay pretty moderate. We expect a week or two of below-freezing temperatures in December and January... then from mid-February on I have my front door open a lot. The rain doesn't matter to me... I just don't want it too hot or too cold, so I'm happy here!

I would die if I had to have below freezing temps for more than a day again, lol. We broke our shovel in 2 and threw away our winter boots when we moved here from MA. I love the rain, I've always wanted to see Seatle because of that. Storms however, lol different story.

I should be afraid of storms... walking home from school a thousand years ago, lightning struck a tree about 50 yards from me. But I was a country kid, and that was just nature doing what nature does. I guess I've always been laid-back...

LOL a thousand years ago, lmao. That's pretty scary though, I would've freaked for sure. It's a good thing though that you just thought of it as nature, pretty wise.

I know how you feel! I moved to AL to escape the freezing MA temps and snow and yet we had snow here like 2 weeks ago. Now I'm thinking of moving to Miami.

Well that's not cool, lol. Hawaii is way too expensive for me so I'll have to brave the cold Miami weather if I make it down there, lol.

Yes it does get very cold here where i live, in the great white north. lol. I live in canada. And we get a lot of snow, and we have igloo's.. just kidding. but no it does get cold. up to -30C with the wind chill (what the temp feels like with the wind blowing on your skin) sometimes in the winter! that is freaking COLD. so no more complaining about -2C lol that's silly. Did you get out your parka and mukluks *giggles* i'm teasing you :) Have a good day and dress warm ;)

lol... I lost my parka! I looked everywhere but it's gone :( but a sweater and light jacket did the trick, lol. OMG you're super brave, one of my best friends lives in Canada and I only every visit him from May - August. He's tried to get me to go in the winter but I keep telling him I'll step out of his car and automatically freeze into a block of ice, lol.

Holy moly! Never in my wildest dreams did I think it got that cold in Alabama...Alabama????? We've been having weird weather...only a few days ago, it hit near 70..yup, here in the Big Apple..now it's quite a bit colder,in the 30s, and our jerk weathermen have been way off...for two days they've been predicting the worse possible snow storm of the season...uh, yeah? Where? Not even one flake which makes me think our newscasters are flakes..hehe--Any more tornado threats where you are??

LOL... omg I know!!! If I knew that 4 years ago I would've headed further South... like Brazil or something, lol. It's gotten crazy cold and then the next day it's hot. Like this weekend was chilly but right now it's 63. We have had a few more threats, when the weather gets cold then hot all of a sudden is when we're at the worst threat of tornadoes.

We live in Missouri so yes, it can get very cold here. Having grown up part of the time in Michigan though I've never had it get THAT cold here. I also lived in Texas for several years where you can go in t-shirt's with no jacket most of the winter LOL Missouri seems to be about middle ground. So far, it's been really mild this winter. If I ever get the chance, I'll move back to Michigan though...I miss it. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Hello Gmakesmoney. :) It doesn't get cold here in the Philippines. However, there are some places which gets relatively cold on rainy seasons because these places are found to be thousands of feet above sea level. My hometown is situated at a rather high altitude than most towns and cities here in the Philippines. On rainy seasons, it could get cold and foggy. But the temperature could only be as low as 55 degrees. To most of us here, 55 degrees F is already cold. It must be freezing cold out there. Thank God for people who invented the fireplace and the warming systems. :). A belated Happy New Year to you. :)

Kansas can get sooo cold! Right now, the weather channel says it is 30 deg F ( -1 deg C) and it feels like 23 deg F. The temperature is expected to go down to 19 deg F. But I am not complaining yet. =)
