Who else thought xmas went to quick and no one really seemed to be in the mood.

I have felt that too.. Even with myself, last 2006 xmas I bought gifts early and wrapped them in excitement, but last year it was a different one... It's like it's not really christmas and it just passed by so quickly

you know even the shops seemed to put their decorations up later this year, and not so many. Last year i was wrapping presents in october... It was very strange this year, plus it was the first xmas our daughter didn't wake up here in the morning as she's left home now... :-( its not the same when your kids grow up...

I felt like that too. Seemed to sneak up really fast. It went really fast too. I was so not in the mood. My plans got all messed up and it just wasn't a very good day. Hopefully next year will be better! Hope yours is too!

yes the same here, we went to my daughters partners parents as it was our grandsons first xmas we all wanted to be together but it was a long day as dinner took five hours longer than planned, because of my illness it took its toll sitting around that long... then i was ill for the following two weeks so didn't go out on new year like we were supposed to.. Hope yours is better next year too...

Yeah, my new years wasn't that great either. I haven't felt in the Christmas spirit since my grandmother and my father passed. It's just not the same anymore. None of the family really gets together anymore. I think everyone is depressed or something...Maybe next year I could invite everyone here....who knows.
