looking and hearing the way the older generation lived it appears they were happy go lucky and enjoyed life to the fullest extent and were free from the huzzle buzzle of busy life.though the life was sedentary they enjoyed nature . they had strong mind, goodeyesight and sound hearing strong body and cheerful and friendly.but looking at genext i feel by the time they reach the age of20-25 they show burnt out syndrome. what is ur opinion?

I think the older generation was alot happier also. they did not have also of this technology that keeps happening before them every time they bat their eyes. They did work hard but they did have life alot easier back then because everything is so fast paced now. Alot of people are trying to keep up with the rich and falling deeper into debt too.

No, life was not sedentary. That was when people actually did more than sit in front of a computer or TV. It was when people weren't afraid of a little hard work. They used push mowers instead of riding mowers, rakes instead of leaf blowers, and actually cooked real meals that didn't come from a drive thru window or a box. They took the time to appreciate the things in life that are really important. People nowadays are so high maintenance, they need everything NOW. God forbid you have to wait 5 minutes, or actually do something yourself. That's why people now are not happy. They don't appreciate the things that really matter. They always want more. They freak out if the power goes out because they can't use their playstation or computer. Thank goodness for gameboys, or they'd really be lost. They think board games are antiques, and would be lost if they didn't have their cell phones with them every waking minute.
