I am hear to tell you my friends on Mylot..If you find anything that says "Made in America" you had better grab it and hold onto it..The UsA will be history soon...It is almost impossible to find anything made here, one day "made in America" will be a collecters item..It makes me sick that we are so easily swayed by the almighty dollar.......

I know what you mean. Everything is Made in China, Made in Japan or Made in Mexico. What I can't understand is if their making so much of this stuff why not sell it in their own country and build up their economy. I don't know about anyone else but I do not need anymore broke down cr*p from forgein countries. I think the Amish have the right idea...they make all their own stuff.

I think you might have something there. Do you notice that anyone with the knowledge to make their own things in life and live outside the "normal" world get so much S*@T from everyone else. But, do you also notice that they do not have as many problems as we do? What I love is the Amish have such beautiful things and can be proud of it because they make it with their own hands. And, their kids do their chores. I can't get mine do do the dishes on time to save my life! And, I love the fact that you never see their kids have body piercing's or tattoo's or clothes that look like string tied together. But, Anyways I think we should start making our own things here more and stop relying on other countries to make the cr@ppy stuff. I also think that if the other companies have not built up their economy by now they never will...

I am not an American, but I will try to buy American because well the clothes fit better. Up here in Canada, they try to get us to buy Canadian, but I buy for quality, not where it is. People should have a choice, and it should not be the price, it should be the make. I have bought shoes and clothes bought in China, and it is hard to get in my size. Yet when what Ibuy is made in North America, it fits. So for Americans, buy American, and for Canadians, buy American as well. You do not have to pay as much as we do up here.

I have nothing against buying from other countries, i buy cloths and stuff all of the time from different countries...What makes me upset is that the USA is selling out to other countries and USA doesn't have anything that is made here...Like Canada i would imagine that they do want you to buy from them if possible and i can understand that, but what if Canada the country that you love has sold out and has nothing left to buy? thats what i am talking about, we do not have any items to buy, and for that reason i am upset..I buy things from china all the time and Romania , but we have no choices at all,we are forced to buy because we have sold ourselves out to other countries to save money...

It makes me sick too, but each of us are ruled by our wallets. I believe in "Made in America". Years ago I was marching in a Labor Day Parade with the Teamsters Union. They gave us small American Flags to wave. On the stick of the flaq was a sticker that said "made in China". That was such a joke. An American flag made in China, being used to promote Labor in the States. "What is wrong with this picture", it is sad but true.

I tend to agree with you - it's actually one of our selling points for our crafts business "Made in America". We also do our best to use materials made in America but it's not always possible.

It already is hard to find things that are actually made in the US. Everything is made in other countries and shipped here. I really admire those ppl that live their lives with limited things from other countries. They may not have all the fancy hi-tech things but I bet they sleep better at night knowing that their food, clothes and furniture were made right here in the US.
