Paula - Simon - Randy - Who's your favorite?

For me it would have to be Simon. I know he is rather harsh at times but he seems to be the voice everyone wishes they had. Who is your favorite?

I feel the same way. I think that he's got the right idea when it comes to the show, he's the one out there who's looking for the best singer and is not afraid to tell other people how he feels about them or be straight up with them about how they are as a singer. What some people don't realize is that the music business can be a lot like how Simon is to some of these people. It's a blunt world and they are very direct to people. It's not about being nice, it's business and finding the best singer.

I agree with you 100%. Some people have to be told point blank that they do not have what it takes. Although it can be a hard and harsh thing to hear and also heartbreaking. But I think that it would be worse if they told them that maybe they were or could be good if they only practiced more. These people would then go home and waste another year of their lives on something that will never be and go back next season to try again.
Everyone is not good at everything. We all have our ups and downs but there is always that one thing out there that we are good at. It may not be stardom but just as satisfying if we put our heart into it.

Hmm, simon is strange ya never know what hes gonna say. But hes known to be a pest to put it nicely. However I like paula she seems down to earth and seems to even use some tactfulness even when she insulting someone..lol

I will agree that Paula does come across more gently. Simon is down to the point - I am not sure that he cares much if he hurts someone feelings or maybe it is that he doesnt want to lead someone on when there is no hope for them. This actually could be the nicer thing to do in a strange kind of way.

My favorite is simon for the exact same reason. Simon is keeping it real and really gives good, honest advice amongst all the put downs. When he likes someone he trys to help them and gives compliments once in awhile.
