I find myself enjoying the older movies more. I don't mean Charlie Chaplin old but ones like City Slickers; Tombstone; Mrs. Doubtfire; A Few Good Men and so on.

those are some really good movies, my daughter loves Mrs. Doubtfire and she is 8 years old. I love digging out some of our older movies, it seems like some of them are put together a little better then what they are now. but there are a lot of new movies i like to watch to.

I also notice that the older movies are less dependant on computer graphics. Not to say that I don't like the graphics but sometimes they are just too much. And yes, Mrs. Doubtfire is a HOOT! My family and I have watched it multiple times and still find ourselves laughing.

i prefer the older ones like lethal weapon and van damme and die hard because there is an uncomplicated storyline and is easier to follow.
i think they are trying to be too creative in their film making these days, except for the occassional movie.

oh I do agree with you. I think today they try to make things more computer generated - which to me takes away from the quality of the movie. I am also a big fan of die hard and all of the lethal weapons!

I like some of the old horror movies but some are too fake looking for me so it makes the story hard to follow. My husband is a great fan of "The Fly" (hehe). Although I will give two thumbs up for Stephen Kings "It"!

I like them all. Even the older ones. Like King Kong from 1933.But yes,I know what you mean. But there are some really good movies out now. For one 'Charlie Wilsons War' in my opinion is terrific. Mrs Doubtfire is good. Still make me think of Mork from whenI was 7. lol ok I havedated myself. Time to stop. Enjoy whatever you watch. That's the point.

"Enjoy whatever you watch" is EXACTLY the point =) I also loved Mork and Mindy (hehe). Yes, there are some movies out today that I liked. I loved "The Grudge" and also the new "Borne Identity" sequel. I usually don't catch any of the really "new" movies until they come out on video but I try to get the ones I can think of.
