I go weekly with my husband to shop, but every now and then I do pick up some recipies. I once picked up one for sirloin steak with mushroom, and one for a shrimp gumbo. I love shrimp so I say the shrimp gumbo recipie is a favorite. The best thing is the recipies do change each time.

I have a few cookbooks but hardly ever use them when I cook. I mainly cook from recipes I make of my own. My favorite recipe in my cookbook though is for lasagna but I also add some pizazz to that also.

I don't get my recipes from cook books anymore instead I get them from the internet. I like www.cooks.com. They have thousands of recipes I love that site!

Hello, Kylanie. I don't... I go every week to shop, to buy some foods, meats, breads, butters, strawberryes, oranges, tomatoes, rucullas, potatoes... So much potatoes. Chocolates, bananas, apples to apple pies, grapes, sauce, sugar, biscuits, and some drinks like coke, pepsi, and some like that. Walmart is a good mart? I have to go there? Is good?

I live in the UK so unfortunately we don't have a Walmart so the answer to your question is a definate NO, howver if I did live in USA I would enjoy spending time rummaging through the book section.

I get the Kraft magazine which includes tons of recipes. Of course a lot of them have cheese in them which my older daughter is not crazy about but she does like some of them. I think their favourite has to be the Tex Mex Kraft Dinner (ground beef, KD, salsa and corn - and of course shredded Tex Mex cheese!). When I am in search of a recipe I go to recipes.com. I can usually find something good on there. Members rate the recipes so you have an idea if it good or not. I am not a member so I can't post, comment or rate recipes but I can still print them out. I think my all time favourite is the pork loin roast cooked in the slow cooker. First you brown it in bacon fat, then season with garlic powder, seasoning salt and pepper. Put it in the slow cooker with half a cup of apple juice. It is the most delicious way I have cooked a pork loin roast. ivillage also has a recipe page that I have gotten recipes from. So much more convenient then leafing through the huge recipe books I have on the shelf.
