Internet Security or Police

I have a vast knowledge with PC's, Securtiy etc., I am currently looking to broaden my horizons. What I would really enjoy is, working with the authorities (online, or such companies, to monitor the Internet,or chat monitor, catching Internet Crimes, abuse, predators. I believe, the internet, while it IS "the free information highway" is in need of Techs , such as myself, to keep up with the ever growing "internet crimes" in todays world. My Question IS: How would I go about doing this? I have done days of "google" searches, police employment boards/emails, with no luck ! Anyone ?

Some things are not always easy to find, and not always online. You could try to contact your local authorities and ask about the type of job you're looking for, many authorities work online. Try it out and hopefully you will get lucky. Don't be afraid to ask the actual authorites about this type of work. Good luck!
