My husband and i, and friends and family believe in spirits and EVP, Electronic Voice Phenomenom. So we sometimes have nights around eachothers houses where we sit in the dark and record in the silence of the room with a camcorder to see if we can pick anything up.
We have caught some voices before but couldn't make out what was being said, also a dog barking when it was about two in the morning and no dogs were about.. That was really clear..
Have you caught anything on tape? If so what was said, if you could make it out..

I did a little EVP work about a year ago and caught a few interesting things. One of the things I caught was in the attic of my old house. It was as clear as day. I went out and bought a pretty nice recorder after I caught that EVP. I'm hoping to do a little more searching in the near future. It is defiantly a interesting hobby.

To me it sounded like a old woman.I also caught what sounded like a little girl in my kitchen and even in my car! I went out and bought a pretty nice recorder after I caught those EVPs. I've recorded two evps before around my house. Both were recorded this year (mainly due to the fact I bought my first digital voice recorder this year).
The first was back in February. I was home alone this particular day and was going to be pretty much all day long. I happened to have one class that afternoon, so I decided to leave my voice recorder on a coffee table by my couch. Leaving it on voice activation, I silently left. About an hour and a half later, I returned to find it had recorded 53 seconds. No voices, but there was this very odd knocking sound throughout the recording that I still have no idea what it was months later as I've never heard anything like it in my house. As someone else noticed and pointed out as well, another weird thing about it is that whenever you hear the knocking sounds, the grandfather clock heard chiming in the background would stop ticking for a split second right before or right after the knocking.
The second evp was recorded back in May. My sister and nieces were over that afternoon. My parents and they were out in the backyard. I had gone back inside to get something. On my way back through the garage (through the front), I randomly decided to record for a few seconds just for the heck of it to see if anything happened (I've believed for a long time there's something going on in my house). I recorded for about two or three seconds and then played the message back. To my surprise, I heard a whisper. And you know what the whisper said?
"Go back inside..."
