I accidently disconnect the power cable...

Can anyone help me out? About a week ago I took my PS2 apart (older model) to clean the inside of it out. Well since I was just doing a quick cleaning job I didn't bother with taking the power/rest buttons off the case top and instead laid the top beside the base. Well, while cleaning the case fell off the table jerking the thin silver power cable out from the base. Does anyone now how to get this back in there? Any help would be appreciated.
