Do you use store bought sauce? Do you make homemade sauce? What do you use to make your spaghetti? I use to make homemade sauce like my mothers, but when my husband and I got together he didn't like it as much. So now I buy the sauce from the store. Sometimes I'll add a can of tomato sauce to make more sauce.

Hi shymurl,
I make my own spaghetti sauce from scratch. First I prepare the ingredients: chop garlic, onions, ground beef bell pepper, tomatoes, tomato paste and tomato sauce, vinegar, sugar, itallian seasonig, pepper, salt, soy sauce, cheese or optional hardboiled eggs. I put a little cooking oil in the pan and put the garlic until slight golden brown, followed by the onions. Stir fry the mixture until the onion is already ok.I then put the ground meet until the color of the meat change. I then putin the tomato sauce and tomato paste and let the mixture simmer for awhile. Next I mix vinegar and sugar, the taste should have atinge of sweety sour flavor. I then put in the vinegar sugar mixture and simmer again the mixture for a couple of minutes. Do not stir to let the vinegar be cook or else the taste of the vinegar will overpower the rest of the spices. After around 5 minutes put in pepper, soy sauce, salt, chesse, italian seasoning to the desired taste and also put in hotdogs bell peppers or hardboiled eggs. simmer for a few minutes and tada you now have a good tasting sphageti sauce. Very truly yours, ferritic.

Shymurl, The secret in cooking is that it should be an art, and the taste shall be a combination of the spices and ingredients used. No ingredient should be overpowering other ingredients. Always cook when you are happy, you can send good energies thru your food. Yours truly, Ferritic.

I either buy meatless sauce in jar or make my own with tomato sauce and add lots of veggies, garlic powder, seasonings. I seperate the noodles and keep the veggies and sauce in another pan so we can add as much of each as we would like to have.

it depends on what mood i am. i sometimes buy tomato souce and turn it to a tasty spagetti sauce by saute garlic, onions and ground beef or pork then put the tomato sause but sometimes i make my own version of adding real tomatoes rather than tomato sauce. i put sometimes mushroom and sliced hotdogs.

I usually make my own spaghetti sauce. I cook onions and garlic in olive oil. Then I add a couple of cans of diced tomatoes to it and let it simmer. My family refuses to eat store bought sauce since I made sauce this way once.
