Or do you not really care one way or the other. I enjoy watching the try outs they are funny. Now the regular American Idol I guess it all depends on if I like any of the Idols or not. I like season 5 better then last year. So I am not to sure about this year yet.

ya I like american idol. I just don't know how some of them make it. Like the little girl that didn't have any singing lessons last season. What was that about? Then she went on to win the season!

Yes, exactly! If I had a rich member or popular member of my family I might have made it..So what does that tell our youth? Don't try?

i used to watch american idol before. and like you, i also liked watching the audition than the contest proper. a lot of people are really determined there. and they even argue with the 3 judges after they have been criticized. ^__^;;
i have stopped watching this show since the batch of Fantasia Barrino because our tv has a weak reception of the local channel where the show is being aired and we have no cable. but even now that it is being aired in another local channel which has a very clear reception, i'm still not watching it. its because i haven't been watching tv lately. ^__^;; i'm just spending all my free time in front of my pc.
but sometimes, i get to watch it when my boardmates are watching it. ^__^

I like watching the auditions more than the real contest.This time also I'm finding it very funny and entertaining.The man in bird's costume with simon written on his hat was singing praise for simon which was indeed a hilarious treat,though he was not a bad singer.it was shocking to see a contestent going through the pain of waxing to be able to give audition.that was a bit wierd

American Idol is popular here in the Philippines. Almost everyone watches it; which is kinda ironic, you see Filipinos rooting for an AMERICAN idol. A friend of mine was disappointed last season, she thinks that it was Melinda Doolittle who deserved to win. As for me I'm okay with whoever America 'chooses'=)Who was your bet last season?
The auditions are really funny this season, but my heart broke over the guy who sang, "Let my people go.." I wanted to hug him or just bring him home to protect him from the cruel world!
