why should people have to support someone just because he's the president? not everybody voted for him, so obviously not everyone likes him

LOL good for her... She was on the canadians version of mtv the other day saying she regretted revoking her apology and that they were forced to by the reps, and have since told their reps that if they have to play nice to bush then they will end their careers themselves! Good for them!

They did apologize when they were in Europe, but now revoke their apology.
This MAKES ME SO ANGRY. I was happy they said what they sais, yet they backed down from their beliefs and apologized! Then when they heard a lot of other americans they revoked their apology, what to impress the people againg? You are either sorry or not!!!!

They apologized for the way what they said was interpreted.
On oprah they made clear that they had no regrets of saying what was said and in fact natalie claims that she supports the presidents seat....just not who is sitting there at the moment...adn I can't agree more.

I love the music that they play and as far as anything they have said, more power to them - at least they spoke up for what they believe in - they didn't knock the presidency - they just want someone new in power and I think a lot more people feel the same way.

I think it's all good, they're talented and I love their music.
That being said, I think a lot of times entertainers forget that they are just that - entertainment, for most of us anyway, if we want to know their political views, well then we'll ask won't we?
But Texas girls are mouthy and I should know :)

Personally, I'd say whatever. So they don't like Bush, neither do a lot of other people. I don't think it was smart of them to say that the way they did, but they obviously paid for it. I don't fall over their music anyway, though. I think SheDaisy is better.

I don;t listen to their music but I don't think negative about them. They just voiced their opinions. Maybe they shouldn't have done it in another country but would it have been better for them to speak against Bush in the United States?

I agree totally, why would you chicken out like that and voice your opinions in Europe where they dont give a **** about bush or how you feel about him, then they kinda just hid their for a bit!
