My two cents

The better and longer your responses, the more you get paid for them. At least four lines is best. They recently changed how they calculate payments and that has really made everyone's earnings go down. They frown on discussions that don't promote discussion like "what is your favorite color?" More open-ended questions that promote diverse opinions tend to get more responses and consequently, earn you more pennies. Also, as stated by the previous person, if you get others to join, you get a smidge extra from their participation. Good luck, welcome and happy posting!
