Watch out for paypal e-mails.My husband was scammed through a fake paypal e-mail.A fake paypal e-mail alerting him that someone has gotten into his paypal account or something like that.I don't recall how it was actually worded now but
he thought it was the real paypal and gave all the information that was asked.Awhile later someone made some withdrawals
from his bank account.By the time he caught it someone from New York had withdrew a total of 2,000 dollars. His bank
investigated it and the bank replaced his money.Thank goodness. So all those with paypal accounts remember that paypal
will never contact you through an e-mail,so you want to delete all paypal e-mails right away, they are fake. This type
of e-mail is called phishing. They can cast out their line and draw you in.These e-mails sound official and legitamate
but they are only a trick.I also have a paypal account and I get these e-mails.I just delete them as soon as I get them.If you have a paypal account you will get these e-mails.

Oh, my goodness! I just signed up for paypal a while ago. Thanks for the information. Now I need to alert myself to delete such e-mails right away, or I might unknowingly open and read I am so forgetful. Anyway, so now I know what phishing is, I often encounter and read that word. It's a good thing your bank replaced the money. That's a big sigh of relief for you.

Its a good thing you are a MyLot user to find out about this since you just got your paypal account started.A
paypal account is great to have as long as you know what to watch out for. Also watch out for e-bay e-mails and
bank e-mails.Paypal,e-bay and banks will not contact you through your regular e-mail.Yep,we got lucky and our bank replaced the money.

Yeah, if you ever get an email from paypal, or any other site has financial information on you (like a credit card companyor bank), you should NEVER use the link in the email to go to the site. Type the correct address into the web browser to go to the site. If you use the link and it is a phishing email, it will usually direct you to a site they have made that looks like the real thing and when you try to log in, bingo! the phishers have your log-in information and can then log into the real site and access your account.
