what if you found out you had 6months to live?

my mom found out she was terminally ill and she had 6 months to live. i cant even imagine what she was thinking when the doctor told her. that would be the most scariest thing for a person to go through.she had lung cancer and immediately quit smoking but it was too late and sure enough 6 months to the day she died. she had no secound chances......scary im almost her age now and i smoke. i know i should quit smoking right NOW!!!!!!!

Hi Punlonnjack,
your right, you should quit. So should I but for some reason I cant seem to bring myself to consider it.
I'm sorry to hear about your mother!
I guess if I found out I had six months to live, after I got over the shock I would try to find some way to care for those that I care about. And try to enjoy my last days as much as possible.

we all know how hard it is to quit.good luck yourself with that and thanks for the response.
