Guardian Angels

No. I haven't meet mine. hope will meet my angel one day.

I had always wondered if there were guardian angels and then I had kids. Now, I have no reason to question it--I'm a total believer.

I met an Angel a few weeks ago in Scarborough of all places. we were in a restaurant and the kids were playing up. I knew people were watching us even though it wasn't very busy and try as we might we felt like pretty bad parents between toilet trips, noise and dropped food, etc. An elderly lady who had been sat nearby just with a book, not even a drink, came past on her way out. "You have such lovely children," she said her eyes twinkling, "Don't ever worry when you take them out, for they behaved beautifully and you both did too," She put her hand on my shoulder, a very warm little hand, and smiled the most beautiful smile I'd ever seen. We both thanked her and she left the restaurant. We all felt calm and happy for the rest of the day. Maybe she was my Guardian Angel or just a wonderful grandma type. Either way I will never forget her kind words.
