This is a topic you see all over the place currently. It's a very big deal apparently as it has commercials about ignoring it. The point is there's evidence to support what's happening is a completely natural event. Studies have found that these occurances are totally natural, and have in fact happened more than once. If someone finds articles to support or refute this then by all means post away. The other thing that goes along with this is an eventual pole shift, which is to say that North will not be North on a compass anymore. That's a simplified version of it of course... Really I suppose I'm just curious why none of this information is getting any attention and all we hear about is this impending doom? http://abcnews.go.com/2020/Story?id=3061015&page=1 http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-sheppard/2007/11/14/nasa-debunks-part-global-warming-myth-will-media-report-it These are the only two credible seeming articles I found so far.

While it is true that it is a natural event which has happened several times in the past... The climate change that we are experiencing today is not a natural one. It has been created by humanity and it is moving a lot faster than at any time in the past. We got from normal to where we are today in the space of 50 years! And there is no ways to stop it... much less go back. It is because the people at the top knows that he cannot be stopped that they don't want to spend money to try to fix it. They going to enjoy what they have while it last and don't care about tomorrow. It is pretty much along the lines... Stuff the planet... Stuff humanity... Lets enjoy our wealth while we can.

Yes, global warming will be a big factor in life in the future. It is bad that we are ignoring it right now despite all the numbers and figures of increasing temperatures. If we don't do anything soon the future won't be pretty.
