I am such a DITZ!!

I have been trying to fill out the darned forms since last night for the suit that was filed against me for my medical bills. So there I am, thinking "hah! this is pretty simple stuff!" But silly me....I don't put in all of my "a.k.a.'s" where they are supposed to go, the form they gave me that I thought was the proof of mailing service form was the wrong one, and to top it all off the courthouse that I have to go to to file all of this is 35 miles away! I've been there and back twice! Once to pick up the forms because I couldn't find the right ones on the 'net, and once to take the papers to file only to be told I don't have everything right. Grrrrrr! I guess it's a good thing I like to drive. I'm going back again tomorrow, and I THINK I have everything the way they want them. If not, you will all hear a very loud scream wherever you are at! LOL! Thanks for letting me vent everyone. Hugs to all!

LOL! I knew what you meant hon. I would have stayed and finished them in the car, but I had to come home anyway and have my friend fill out the REAL proof of mailing service so that I could take it back tomorrow. At least I know that is done right. If anything else turns out wrong tomorrow, then I will stay until it's all fixed. Thanks hon. Hugs!

I most definitely did my part for them. LOL! I was lucky...there is an office right across the hall from where the papers are filed where there are people that help with filling out the papers. I think I drove them NUTS with all of my questions. Thanks hon.

I think any agency (including Social Security..winks) just LOVES to make it difficult for us and loves to pile us up with so many forms and paperwork to fill out that they're hoping we'll give up. Also, sometimes those forms are so difficult to understand in just HOW to fill them out...one needs an interpretor to help us fill them out. Ah...they don't know us do they...I mean all I know is that I'm just darn stubborn and don't give up easily, and I've gotten to be an expert in filling out forms..hehee

It is just SO mentally and emotionally draining!
A flake of a customer sued us years ago... even
though it was thrown out, as we knew it would be,
we spent two years just totally exhausted all the
time... its like being beaten day after day!!

I truly detest paperwork... which is funny, cuz I have to do so much of it! The first of 4 tax returns is due at the end of the month... I won't hear you screaming, because I'll be much louder!LOL! You're almost there... how exciting is this? Hugs right back!

I'm detesting it very much myself right now. I went to the court this morning thinking I had everything done right, but noooooooo! The stupid fee waiver forms are worse than the response forms! I'm too tired to drive back today, plus there is a meeting at the school for financial aid for college and my daughter and I have to be there. So I will make my fourth trip tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed that everything is right. And I'm not even done....I get to play secretary for hubby and fill out HIS stuff too since we decided to file separate papers (he was served two weeks later than me, so his papers are due later and we are trying to time everything so that if we do get called into court it will be after my surgery). Sheesh! I'm worn out! LOL!

I know how you feel. I was filling out my Saskatoon pension withdrawal, and I had to show that my husband was who he was. So on Saturday or was it Sunday, I started to finish off another one of the form and my husband said, I would have to get a signature. Well that was not the spousal identification form, it was the one that said that I no longer was going to do contributions. Well I put everything in an envelope, put an addrsss label on it, and took it all to get a witness after getting a copy of my husband's passport id. Goes to the car, we drive to the 7=1l where there is a post office and I have to fill out the rest of the forms, and go in and borrow the 7=-11 lady's stapler. He could have kept his mouth shut and let me fill out that other form. I am not good at writing in the car.

Feel free to join in at any time hon. I know what you mean about not being able to fill out papers in the car. That's why I didn't stay today and refill out the ones I got...I would have been even more aggravated! And yes your husband should have known better than to open his mouth and utter a single sound. I think he should make you a nice dinner to make up for it! LOL
