How do you know which ones are collectible?I have always wondered!Then why are people willing to pay so much for them?

The most successful coin collectors take time to learn as much as they can about coins. They not only study coins but the dynamics of the market as well. To learn about coins, I strongly suggest that you buy and read as many books as possible. As for which are collectible that is part of the education of coin collecting.
