I agree with some of the others, just find you some headphones and put on some of your favorite music and do some sort of exercising. It will burn energy and stress and the music will help calm your nerves as well. I hope you are able to relieve the stress and remember if you harm yourself you'll just be causing more stress. Take care!

Yea, sports and exercise are natural stress relievers. Sometimes, just thinking over your problem while walking works wonders. Whenever I'm stressed, I just take a walk around my college campus, and I feel a lot better. Of course, the best way to deal with stress is to overcome whatever it is that's giving you problems. I can actually predict what my exam scores will be like judging by how anxious I am. I get more stressed if I haven't studied enough, but when I'm ready for it, I actually have absolutely no anxiety.

Hi, Nakita. Just remember that anything you do to harm yourself is not going to take away stress. And stress itself is harmful, which is why this is such a great discussion. The first two responses were right on. Do something that will help you exercise. Another suggestion would be to do something that you can get really involved in like watching your favorite movie or reading a book (if you like doing that). You'll get so involved that it will automatically take your mind off the stress that your body is experiencing. Another thing I LOVE to do when stressed out is to give myself a good pedicure, even if I don't end up painting my toenails. I'll soak my feet in the bath with some good-smelling body wash. After my feet are warm, scrubbed up, and soft, I'll dry them and apply good-smelling, soothing lotion. I don't know what it is about the feet, but it helps the whole body relax. Make sure you have really hot water, as hot as you can stand. This is so soothing. It makes me want to give myself a pedicure right now! (LOL) You could also go and have a professional pedicure. You could go to a spa and/or get a massage to relieve your stress also, but as you probably noticed, I tried to give you the cheaper options first. If you have a scented candle that you like, light it and just take in the smell. Things we smell can have a lot to do with how we feel because our sense of smell goes directly to the brain. Hopefully you can also get some rest through all of this. Sleep can do the body so much good. The majority of the times I get sick is just because I haven't gotten enough sleep. It's pretty sad, actually. However, I wish you the best and certainly hope you get rid of your stress right away! All the best to you, my friend.

I would say do some excerizing. Jumping up and down, running in place. anything that will get some of those feelings down to a smaller level.

mayb you should try doing a sport that you like or prefer till you are tired? It won't harm you.. Just make you tired and beaten..
