insecure or jealous?

Both, if your jealous you are also insecure. And if you are insecure it will bring you to a feeling of jealousy. People make that feeling jealousy when they feel to their self that they are out of bound or they are not total complete, but that is only on their mind. And that is the feeling of being insecure to other.

I think insecurity is what causes jealousy, if someone is secure within themselves they don't tend to get jealous so I guess you could say jealousy is a symptom of insecurity.
