They do look rather dirty. Plus they bring too much attention to the person wearing them, and by attention, I mean the negative type.
Yet sometimes its not so much a choice.. for its actually a symbol for a religion, wich is something that many are not aware of.

I'm for freedom of expression. I let somebody decide his or her hairstyle without asking me. I am not crazy about dred locks and I won't wear them, but I don't mind when others do. As for decency, I was disappointed by people who did only what others say we should. Very disappointed by people apparently decent. I don't judge someone by appearance or by hairstyle.

Thats the way of life though...people get judged on appearances..and really you dont think anything bad about a person when they walk past, either with 30 peircing,20 tattos and/or hair that hasnt been brushed or washed for the last month?
you cant say you dont judge people..everyone does even without realising.

I don't and even if i didnt like it (I do, for all future references) then i think its their problem. If they want dreadlocks so what, as long as they don't force it on me. And no i don't have dreadlocks because dislike spending money on my hair and have a general lack of interest in that subject. Yes many wash their hair and use special technques to maintain the shape they want it to be. If you feel like reading a little about it, il post a link underneath here.
