My laptop has only 512 RAM, office 2007 will make it run so slowly, but i think it's worthy of using it, there is a 'ribbon' which can help you to find the function you want.
How do you like it?
You have already setup it or keep using office 2003?

My laptop also has 512 ram and i am using ms office 2007... it is a fairly new laptop and i had the option to use office 2003... but i chose office 2007 because of its advance features...other than that... i want to learn how to use this new program since i know that most will be using this and that office 2003 will become obselete int the near future..

I listen to a employee in the ms, and they said the improvement in the office 2007 is based on questionnaire survey, it show that many users know that there are definitely enough function to do everything with their words, but they do hard find how to use it.
so "ribbon" is used for that.
It always tell you what can you do to your task and how to do it.
I think it's a big imprvement.

512 MB RAM is enough for Office 2007 to work properly. Office 2007 has got lots of options and you can install that in your laptop. You need to check for virus because Office 2007 will not make the system slow.
