What do you think of the Armed Forces?

I'm a member of the Armed forces and everyday when I mention it to other people, they either get a shocked look on there face or a stunned look. In your opinion are you for the Armed Forces or Not? and Why?

Seeing how my daughter is married to the Army, they get my support. And no that was not a typo, if ya marry a guy in the armed forces, you marry the branch he is in, moving, living on base, etc. He has served 3 tours of duty, 2 of those in Iraq, and is being shipped out to Afganistan in the Spring.
