Do you believe in not standing in front of the microwave when it's on due to radiation?? Let me know what you think.

Actually I have heard this alot. I do not stand in front of the microwave nor do I let anyone else within 3 feet of it while it is on. I don't know if it is true or not but as some have stated better safe then sorry.

I don't stand close in front of it when its on. I also do not let the grandkids stand in front of it. You never now what the microwaves can do. If they cook and heat up things as quick as they do and can go thru glass and plastic, what keeps the waves in the oven and protects us. Better to be safe then sorry.

yes i defenatly think its bad for u no radiation can be good for u!but theres no way of realy getting away from it cause of all the technology and waves of radiation goin through our air all the time.

They do not use radiation to cook the food or heat up things. It would be closer to radio wazes if I'm thinking right. There is nothing wrong with standing in front of a working microwave, unless you have a pacemaker. I think it can mess with those, I wouldn't risk it unless I heard differently from a doctor.

Ya, i think i radiates. It heats thing up with microwaves, which in physic term, an emission of destructive wave is radiative. (like x-ray,alpha ray, beta ray & etc...)

I do believe in not standing close to the microwave whenever I'm using it, because it can cause radiation. My mother always told me not to get close to the microwave when its on. I usually cover my food with a paper towel or a napkin, whenever I have food in topless container before placing it in the microwave. Radiation is extremely dangerous.
