Has anyone ever tried Cold Stone Creamery?

I recently watched in Oprah show about Cold Stone creamery and I was so fascinated with the idea. For people who don't know about cold stone creameries, here's a little detail:
It was started by a couple as in one shop and now they've 1400 shops all over USA and it's a Multi million dollar company. It's an ice creme pallor but with a delicious twist. You get to choose a base flavor and then different add ons and then they chop and mix up your add ons in front of you into the ice creme. They've a special frozen granite for this purpose. In the end you've a fully customized cup of ice creme for you, all chosen by you.

I was wondering how many people have already tried it and what are your favorite creations? Do post some recommendations for the newbies.

Oooh, cold stone is the best ice cream EVER! (Actually, in Canada we have Marble Slab, which does the same thing just different company). My absolute favourite so far is cinnamon ice cream + blackberries + in a waffle cone- it has all the delicious flavours of blackberry crisp, SO GOOD! Any fruit goes really well with cinnamon spice ice cream.

Thanx for sharing the information about Marble Slab :) Too bad, it does not have any branch in winnipeg but they are supposed to be opening it soon. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!

Cold Stone Creamery is awesome. My friend calls it orgasam in a cone. I love the white chocolate ice cream with carmel and pecans added into it. When the new one opened up where we used to live my daughter won free ice cream for a year at the grand opening.

i love cold stone creamery, it is the best ice cream. i go ther and get the exact same ice cream every time. vanilla ice cream with brownies and carmel.
i love it so much because you can choice what goes into your ice cream, and you watch them make it.
just seeing this post makes me wanna go off my diet and go to clod stone creamery!!

It is amazing! My husband introduced it to me...according to him I had been "deprived of heaven" for not having it before...lol. So far the creation Strawberry blond has been my favorite.

My suggestion is to keep it simple. When we go out for ice cream we normally do head there. Although their ice cream is super yummy it is very sweet. I love ice cream and can eat a lot, but I can only eat the smallest scoop from there, any more and I get sick.

I LOVE Cold stone!! The ice cream doesn't taste exactly the same as regular ice cream, but it's still great. I usually get one of their specialties like a strawberry blonde or anything with strawberries. They also have the low fat vanilla so you can eat that and feel healthy :)
