Do you look older or younger than your actual age?

I have been told loads of times that i look younger than i actually am. I'm not sure what makes me not look my age, but i've always been told i look alot younger. Late last year a woman at a nursing home thought i was still at school, and i am 21( i was 20 then). When i had our still born daughter in 2005 the midwife thought i was 12 and i was 18 then. I'm really short & slender so I get mistaken for 15/14 years even though I'm 17. :P But i also think the way people dress, and their hair also contributes to the age look, too.

Hah! I now look older. After years of not looking my age, it's caught up to me. I aged five years in a year about twice now. I still think I look good. Better, in fact than in my high school/young adult days for some reason. Sometimes a plain face and figure in your youth ages well and turns into something maybe not "pretty" later on, but "interesting" or "approachable".

I have always looked younger than I am. It tens to run in my family. My parents do not look their age either.I am 55 and people think I am in my 40's. I do not have any gray hair yet, and woud really like too.I just do not feel this old at all.

Haha,alot of people think im alot younger than i am,ive always had this problem with people saying that im young looking to the point of going out and getting carded at a bar and i was really like 6-7 years older than the age limit here which is 19.I still get it alot,im petit and young looking and alot think im like 25 or 26 and im going to be 35 in march,haha!

Most people think I'm younger than what I am. I am 35 and I still get carted. I would say it's because I'm short. I'm only 5' nothing so most think I'm young.

Without wanting to boast, but a lot of people never guess my age right and they always say I am in my late twenties and are real shocked when I tell them my real age! But you look so young! The proof as they say is in my picture, check the avatar, I am 36 years old. Sometimes I feel like 86! But no, people still tell me that I am 28, 29! Flattery eh!

I'd say they would think that I am younger than I really am. I am of slight build and am not very heavy either....so depending on the clothes I wear, I sometimes pass off as a college student..lol It's only when I go out with both my kids that I get a few stares...and some people assume that they are my nephews...lol Earlier this looking younger than my age would drive me and my sister crazy! She is 7 years younger than I am and we used to look around the same age when she was in her teens and I was in my twenties. There were people who would mistake her for the older one sometimes...and that would get both of us mad (because she didn't want to be so old and I wanted people to think that I was mature!)

i actually look and act younger than my age. most people that i meet for the first time dont think i am too much over 40 (like 40 or 41) i am 46 (thanx mom - i am sure genes have something to do with it!)

For some reason my Mom and I both look younger than we are. She is in her 60's and looks like she's in her mid 40's and I am almost 40 and have been told I look like I'm in my early 30's. I don't know why it is but hey, I'm not knocking it LOL **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

According to my friends, I look younger than my age. Yeah for me! I am 44 and last year when I went to the casino, I was proofed by the security guard. That made my day. Maybe it is because I dress in trendy styles.

I'm not sure any more.... People use to think I was younger than I was but I haven't had any one ask if my mom's home lately or if I'm the baby sitter.....

I look older than my actual age ,my friends told me that.but i think i am just mature than my actual age .when i am young ,i fac a lot of things that other children don't experience,i think much more than others and know much about the society,so i sometimes do something that the older man can do and tell some different topics.so they say you are mature ,maybe that make me look older .

Both. Some people think I am younger, because I am small (5 foot) while other people think I am older, because I am mature and I can dress a year or two older when necessary. I am mistaken for being older than younger though, because while I can get into bars over the town, I cannot get on the bus as a child.

i usually look younger than my age because i act too childish most of the time lol
