Do you think Marijuana should be decriminalized?

I am looking for what others think about marijuana and its usage. Some people can over do it but the are also those that use for medical reasons. There are places where they would just write you a ticket for having a small amount on you. And those that would throw you in jail. Why's that? Shouldn't there be an overall standard? What do you think? If they aren't going to make it legal, don't you think that it should be decriminalized? Just fines? Maybe some type of permit to grow it? I dunno, you tell me.
