Where can you sell books?

I have a lot of books I need to get rid of. I usually give them away but I was thinking about selling them to make a little extra money. Where all can you sell books other than ebay or amazon? There is a little bookstore close to me that I was thinking about trying to go to but everytime I go by there they are closed. I might try to go early on Saturday morning and see if they are opened. But I was just wondering if there were any other places to sell them.

The bookstores in my area that take used books give a store credit. I've done well moving books on half.com.

Yeah, I think I might try the bookstore down the road from me if I can ever get there before they close.

Have you tried a book exchange? You can sell the books or swap them for something of the same value to read.

You can do that at abebook.com also. You may not fetch much money cos the books there are really cheap, but you may want books cheaply whenever you want to buy one.

Hello sweetgirl_k1, Though I may not be able to tell you on ground stores where you can sell your books but you surely can try 'ebay' which is an online selling and buying store. I think that you would already be knowing it. You have to make an account there (if I am correct) and you can sell whatever you want, even the second hand or older things and objects.

i sell used stuff including my books on ebay. we dont have amazon on our country and ebay is well known and used by most people here. i think selling stuff online is a great way to make extra money. sometimes you can also try posting them on your blog site or web page like the multiply.
