I almost missed American Idol last night...

I am a big fan of American Idol but last night i almost missed the very first episode of season 7... good thing that there was a reply that same night... as i was watching the show... i wondered why some even bother to audition because they clearly can't carry a tune... while other obviously tried out just to get like 30 seconds of airtime on global tv... the person that particularly bothered me was the man who was practically naked... when Paula said that the chest hair was a bad sight... he literally went out and had every single chest hair painfully removed... went back to the audition and he did not even get to sing... he was so weird...
Who do you think was the most unique among those who auditioned?

I do not watch American Idol so I should not be responsiding but I am butting in anyway. I just cannot believe how stupid some people can be. I cannot sing, I know I cannot sing so I do not go.
I think some people think they have better talent than they do.

Well, we can only commend them for their bravery in facing the whole world with the kind of voice that they have... maybe that is their talent... but without those people...American Idol wouldn't be that interesting... i would only watch it when the final 12 are chosen... thanks for the response...

When American Idol first started it was fun to see the many people get up there and try to audition only to find out that they did not have any vocal skills. It is particularly funny to see what Simon's reaction will be when these vocally challenged individuals audition.
Now, I am somewhat tired of seeing the "nuts" get up on nationwide TV and make fools of themselves.

I did not get a chance to see the first 4 seasons... so i can't compare how different the first one who auditioned from the ones now... this show is actully a venue for those who need a reality check that they can't sing very well or that they can but they just need to improve their personality or vocal skills...thanks for sharing...

I missed it last night; the first night...and now tonight I am not watching it again...American Idol is dull.

well that one that you described...and the star wars chick that flipped out cuz she got denied and said they need someone different. lol. oh and the guy that sung like an ogar. lol so many odd people on that show and of course i missed last nights show. bummer

I to almost missed that first one, but i got to watch it and it was good and last night was great..OMG the guy with the chest hair left and got waxed and actually came back to sing the horrible song to Paula,can you believe?He was a freaky guy,i was glad Simon ran him out..It bothered me because he seeemed like a stalker....I hope Paula does not have problems with that idiot..

Yes, he so weird and is a potential stalker that is capable of doing anything... those type of persons are the ones that police should watch out for... it watched last night's episode and i believe that the ones who earned a ticket to hollywood deserve the chance... i can't wait for the second part of the elimination round...thanks for the response...

I dont watch until they get down to the nitty gritty because I dont know if the first ones are just for TV because they have to pass other judges before Randy, Paula & Simon and those judges wouldnt let people thru who couldnt sing.
