How can I edit my discussion?

Philippines
January 16, 2008 10:35pm CST
I made a discussion couple of hours ago but because I made it in between working hours in the office I didn't preview it. During lunch break I checked what I've posted and found out that I've got typo graphical error for some words. How can I edit it? Please share. Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately you cannot edit a post once it is posted. There is not an edit feature here on myLot. It would be nice though. I know lots of people type things wrong and do not catch it in time.

I'm quite disappointed because I can't edit my previous discussion and that also mean I can no longer insert an image on it right? Thank you so much for your info, I guess I just have to be more careful next time I'll post. Have a nice day lilybug! God Bless.

Well I can't help you any. But I didn't want you to feel alone. I posted a reply twice to a person! OOPs.

It's ok angieang, I appreciate your response. Thank you. Remember not to post a reply twice to one person ^_^. Happy posting.

it is really frustrating because we can't really edit our discussions one we "started" it. i guess that's the reason why there is a "preview" option so that when we see a mistake, we can still edit it. however, like you, i usually "start" the discussion without really previewing it. ^__^;; that's why in my newest discussion about Sweeny Todd, i wasn't able to edit "there was a barber IN his wife". that should have been "there was a barber AND his wife".. ^__^;;

As the other two responders have said, you can't. It happens to everyone though. You write a comment or a post quickly, give it a once over & come back later to see glaring typos or spelling errors. Don't worry about it.

As far as I know, you can't. I have a few too but I can't go back and correct them. Don't feel bad for everyone makes mistakes so you're not alone.

You're very welcome hon. I do have a suggestion though if I may. When you get 500 posts and are able to copy and paste, copy it and paste it to word and see where your mistakes are then you can correct them and then post it back onto here. Actually you can still do a copy and post it to word but you won't be able to paste it back here until you have 500 posts but you can see where the mistakes are and correct them yourself. I've had to do that and gosh it seemed to take me forever but eventually I did get to 500 posts and boy was I ever so happy! lol

I think there is no way you can edit your discussion after you have posted it here. you even can't delete it. I think these are few features that we need in Mylot. Hope yopu agree with me
