Snow and Ice Today, Schools closed

I will be home today as the schools are closed due to icing on the roads(for those of you that live in area where is really snows, here in the southern US freezing rain and ice is a big problem on the roads, because of the infrequency of adverse weather, they are not very good at dealing with it), so, I'll have to think of something to do with the kids today. Suggestions, ideas?

We have a snow day here too. I took my son out in the snow earlier but now it's sleeting. We are just hanging out inside the house today.

Snow stopped here, just the sleet, rain now.

ah the joys of winter! we live in southern ontario canada and while we dont get a lot of days like that, we usually get a couple per season... we play board games as a family, watch movies, shovel snow, cook, bake...stuff like that... have fun!!!
