Well you should talk with him openly as this is the age where all the children wanted to live their life and when they get these types of question, parents do tell them and talk with them freely and openly. There is nothing to become shy or anything else. Just tell him openly.

when your boy thinks that he has some good feeling with any girl. the feeling of the boy and girl is same and directly proportional to each other.if this could happen than we can say that your boy is in love with someone.

Usually when a teenager learns on the street which should be instructed in the house.. just learning as the thought of friends who also dont have the best view on a subject. You could try to discuss this with your child..it is a good sign that he has asked to you and not to a fool colleague. Explain that is a feeling that gives us that impression seems urgent,cold in the belly.. but it is a feelling that must be monitored because we are not animals..we think..,and have to be responsible and aware that ..every action generates a reaction. And that feeling is normal event growth. Explain that at rhis age he still will fall in love much more. He has a life ahead and which should not rush it. Just enjoy this feeling so nice to feel.

im not expert in that kind of thing but i think a person is inlove when she/he always think of that person, if he/she sees that person, she's happy, contented, excited, its kinda unexplainable feeling, inspired..
