I don't know about making money.... However whenever I need books I buy them from ebay or amazon. It's amazing what you can get. I have had £30 books cost me less than £5. Worth a look!

Yeah, eBay even has a textbook super store! And their sister site half.com is pretty good too.

I've heard about a website that allows students to rent their textbooks from them for a very low rate which would save you a lot of money in the end. Not only that, they also plant a tree for every textbook that you rent from them. And, after the semester is over, you can print off a label and send the textbooks back to them on their dime. I have not used this site personally, but I know that someone has and has nothing but good experiences with them, so maybe it will help you out. http://www.chegg.com

This won't help you make money, but you may want to see if you actually need to the books before buying them. Many classes say you need books X, Y & Z but when the first day of class rolls around you really only need Y. You may want to check online and see if any of your books come in ebook form, which you can often get free.

I am in the same place as you. I haven't found any good programs that will pay for my books either. What I have done, is scoured the internet to find places to buy used textbooks for a whole lot less. And then after my classes are done, I sell them back. So I'm saving on average about $300-$400 per semester on books.
