who wins african cup of nation?

i guess you are right,its too early to predict who wins but really,there are some teams that have been known to be strong within the competition.but from tomorrow ,we will know what to expect ,i just hope this guys wont mess up the glamour of the whole event with dismal performance

It's true that the performance could be rather low, considering that many of the top players might be tired, but for some of the teams it's the only chance achieve something, considering the low number of African teams that go to the World Cup. Also, it's a very good chance for African players to show their best and sign good contracts. I'm sure we'll have games under what we expect of them, but also games where we'll be pleased by the teams' performance.

very brilliant response thanks friend,i believe the tournament will most likely boost the profile of some of these players while some will most likely loose favour or ranking as the case may be because of poor performance but in all i expect a good outing for most of the teams

Egypt surely deserved the trophy, even if most people (including myself) didn't even considered them among the top teams at the beginning of the tournament. Congrats to the Egyptian team for the good football!

I am sorry, I believed that you ask for the world cup of 2010 in south africa. Thats way my answer was Brasil. But for the african cup I think that Ivory Coast have great chances

yes talking about the 2010 world cup ,i am not so sure of brazil winning like they used to because every team has become their enemy so to say .with the nations cup i think i can vouch for ghana,nigeria,ivory coast,but i wont be surprised if we have some upsets

Gahan 4sure! have u guys seen them play lately? They are realy good. I saw a match of theirs a couple of months ago, they were 2-0 down in the secong half. I went to make myself a cup of, when i came back, they were leading 4-2(they were playin Benin. Ivory coast i think will flop, they think they are too good for everyone else, along with nigerria. The biggest and funniest losers will be south africa. These guys play like some 2nd division side battling to evade relegation. I bet they will score only one goal, and earn one point.

wll i need to tell you that recently south africa has not really performed so well in football,sympathy for them will not win the cup they have to get on the pitch and play out their heart,the only thing is that they are good talkers but play like kids on the pitch
