yeah there's a lot of resources out there and i suppose you already know the answer...
that statement is known as goldbach's conjuncture which have not been that justified for so long now..
not if you considered those super complicated equations which only great mathematicians can understand...

For example, 16.
It's even.
8+8, and neither are prime numbers.

16=13+3 right
13 and 3 are both primes...

Hey, I was kidding! If you can prove this you are a rich man. There is a 1,000,000 pound prize to the one who wil be able to solve the celebrated GOLDBACH's CONJECTURE (unsolved since, I think 200-300 years)
