My hubby has a really bad cold. Now he is not a very good sick person, not that anyone is, but he is a real baby when he is sick. Thank goodness he doesn't get sick very often, about once every two years. I have to wait on him hand and foot when he's sick. I get him everything he wants and I have to force him to take aspirin for his fever. He hates to take any pills for anything, so it is a struggle. I said to him that he just wants to stay aick so I can wait on him, he just laughed, but I really think it is true. So I ask you, do you have to wait on your hubby hand and foot when he is sick? Now I know I don't have to but I feel sorry for him when he's sick because I know what it is like. Although he doesn't do it for me.
I must have a very good imune system because I haven't, knock on wood, caught it from him. I don't think I have had a cold or the flue for several years, which is surpising because I have a lot of other, more serious, health issues. I guess the powers to be have taken some pitty me. lol

Yeah, men, my hubby stayed home the first day so I know he had to feel really bad or he would have went to work, he is a workaholic. The second day he went to work, at 5:30 in the morning, and came home by 9am. The third day he stayed home and now this is the fourth day and he went back to work. He didn't have to because he is in management and gets paid anyways and has about 20 weeks of holidays and sick days coming to him because he never takes days off.

I hope your husband gets better soon, being sick in general just plain sucks and whether your sick or caring for someone who's sick it isn't fun. The house feels stuffy, you'retaking care of the other it is uncomfortable and tiring and you just want to get the cold over with. Lucky you for having such a good immune system I get colds so easily!

I hope your hubby gets better very quickly - for your sake as much as his! I know what you're going through, but there may be hope; when we were younger my husband was the biggest baby going if he got sick but he's really gotten better with age. I remember very early in our marriage we both had the flu at the same time. Now, talk about lots of fun! I had to wait on him hand and foot between trips to the bathroom to throw up.

Hello dear chrislotz. I am sorry for your hubby's getting a bad cold, but I am happy for him that he has you, such a caring wife to take good care of him from hand to foot like what is mentioned here. It is good for him to have you. I am sure that he will get recovered soon under your tender care. All the best to him and you as well, my dear friend.

Yesterday I woke up feeling really bad. However we have a lack of staff at work so I went anyway. Fever, sneezing, a nose blubbering, and a bad coffin, dealing with ten old people who need help with everything and lack of one person I did fight back and stayed on. My boss told me to stay home today and get better, and I did have a day of. However, I needed somethings from the pharmacy to cure this cold with. So today, felling even worse than yesterday I took the bus down town...forth and back. Feeling like a zombie and with a bad head ace. Now, You might wonder if I could not get any help and the answer is no, there was no one els who could do this for me. So when men are sick...they are babes.
Hope he get better soon.
