Hassle with the internet

I was surfing the internet the other day when my internet went down !!How many of you have at some point when you are paying for your internet service and all of a sudden your internet drops out of service. It really ticks me off when that happens to me especially when I am doing something really important

This has happened to me before although not near as much now as it did when I was on the old dial-up connection - drives me crazy but strange thing is it ALWAYS happens when I'm in the middle of something important.

I know the feeling when the internet goes down when I am working on something important!!I think most of had used the old dial up at some point!! And then upgraded to a better speed!!

Cable costs more but it certainly is worth it for me, not getting knocked off line as much and it's unreal how much faster it is - instead of doing 5 things at one time I can do 20 :)

We have had cable for 9 nine years now and the speed is great but if you use up too much mega bytes it can slow the download speed time down until your next billing date

Are you on dial up, DSL or cable? I used to be on dial up with AOL and got disconnected a lot but I've never had a problem since I've switched to Comcast cable. So while I don't have problems now I do know how frustrating it is to not have internet access. I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't get online now. Probably go into all out panic mode.

I am on cable, I had worked out my problem at the time which was a server problem! Because I live in Australia and my server is Telstra Bipond they are always upgrading which is a bit of a problem for us Australians that use them for a internet server!!
