I have seen many people whose life is transformed because of the loving and caring my church has shown to people. I joined this church because i can feel, see the love it has for its members. How about you? Can you share your experiences in your church? Thank you in advance. I might not respond to all but in my heart, I appreciate your responses!

Since we both live in the philippines, I would presume you refer to everything but the catholic church right? True danzer. Other churches appear to care so much about their members but thats because there are only few of them. The catholic chuch however has millions of members so the priests cannot smile at them and shake their hands after each mass one by one. It's natural for catholics to feel neglected and uncared for but it doesn't really mean that way. I'm a catholic and I don't really feel the love and care everytime. However that doesn't make me lose interest on the church because I know the priests have more to do than smile and shake everybody's hands.

thank you for your response kurt. I'm not referring to any church but I believe in my heart that a true church cares about its members as Christ cares about His Church. Even apostle Paul need to ask for cheerful giving for the widows and the neglected at the Jerusalem church! If you don't mind, I would like to direct you to the Bible. Know the truth, and it will set you free. Again, thank you!

You are right denzer. As long as the church members would follow the examples of Christ, there will always be loving and caring. Although at times more felt than seen.

You are right, a very caring church will lead to healthy relationship. The people is what make up the church and not the service or the building, so if the people are of good character, you will be at ease to fellowship with them.

I love that song that talks about how his God wouldn't fit in with the stain glass and tidy church that the singer goes to. I don't know who sings it but it's so true! My old church (moved) was so accepting and loving. They were laid back and it was just so awesome the loving atmosphere that was in that place. I'm hopeing to find something close to that in my next church. I don't see who I could truely be happy and comfortable in a up tight stuffy church.

My church personally is very loving and caring. It welcomes people from all different walks of life with open arms. I currently am involved with the mentally handicapped population in the area because my mom works with them through physical therapy. We decided to bring a few of the higher functioning individuals into our church to see how they were accepted. We now bring over 20 individuals into the church every week and have started out our sunday school class!!
