I am a college student who is very short on money. I have to pay for my college on my own through student loans. I have been doing this for 3 years now and hopefully will be starting pharmacy school in the fall; however, since I have been a student full time for 3 years I have no money!! Does anyone know of any part time jobs that pay well?? I still go to school full time but I have 3 days a week that I would be able to work plus weekends..any ideas??

Being in debt on student loans is not the best solution for you to get educated. Education is not a guarantee for financial success. Look at Bill Gates, he dropped out of harvard and founded Microsoft. Even after finishing your college degree, you are not guaranteed a top paying job. Therefore, you will be having a difficulty paying your student loans. I have read business books and received mentoring from rich people. I suggest you sit down and think of your past experiences and your expertise and find out how you can maximize it. It is better to be debt free than to be drowned with debts. As much as possible, keep yourself away from it. If you need to stop schooling and go into business instead, then do it. Many of mylotters will offer you their links but I would like you to see inside you and make use of your talents!

Serving and bartending have got me through most of college. Also, anything in sales is usually good. If you have the temperment to be an annoying telemarketer they make pretty descent money on short hours. Besides that I dont really know.

The best thing to do would be to look into campus jobs. Jobs on school campuses are more likely to work around a students schedule and are more willing to give the student less hours because they understand that you are a student first and foremost and have to do your schoolwork. After all you are not in school to work for them, you are trying to earn your degree. Pet sitting, house sitting or babysitting are also other good ideas. You won't earn a steady income, but you will be able to pay off some expenses with those types of jobs and some of them pay rather well if you get someone that really needs help.
