I don't check my bill in grocery stores but I do watch at checkout to ensure that I'm only being charged for the right number of items. I was shopping today and noticed that I had been charged twice for one item. I'd have been out $10.00 if I hadn't. Cashiers can make mistakes too.....even if unintentional and they can sure add up.

Yes, most of the time. My dad is the one who reminds me of doing this. In some instances, there were wrong items or double items posted in the bill. We also check to make sure we have paid the correct amount for what we bought, you know, sometimes we have a lower estimate of what we have bought than what is the actual amount.

Yes, I do and I find quite a few mistakes,, put your glasses on outside the store and then check and if you find a mistake, go back. The shops must make a fortune from these errors

I only check it if I'm not too sure what the total should be, or if there are special offers and I just check that I've got things for the right price
