What ever happend to the Dursleys i mean i thoute they would turn up later in the 7th book she did not explain what happend to them.

I think we had to assume that Harry could live without them and they could manage reasonably well without him. I know it would have been nice to find out if he and Dudders ever managed to be friends after the scene at the beginning of the book - but that's life!

Well, there are a lot of things that J.K. Rowling did not explain in the final chapter of Harry Potter... but if you will check out her website www.jkrowling.com in the extra stuff section... there is an item there which says that Harry never saw Aunt Petunia nor his uncle ever again... but he and Dudley still coresponded through holiday cards... and whenever they were in town... they usually visit Dudley and his family which was dreaded by the children...
