This is a picture of one part of my garden. It was actually taken a couple of years ago with a friend's camera, since I don't have a digital camera. The flowers in the back of the picture are Black-eyed Susans, which are Jellen's favorite flower. The ones in the front are Day Lilies.

I wish I could show you my garden, but I just moved and this rental has none. Lots of grass to mow, but flowers are missing. I have several dozen tulip bulbs to plant and all the pots are ready. Yes, I must put them into pots because - it's a rental. It might be, after my house sells, that I can again purchase. If so, I want to take those tulip bulbs in the spring to my next place. I hand picked those bulbs from a bulb farm near MossyRock in Western Washington. What a beautiful aternoon activity, a tour of the bulb farms in bloom on a sunny afternoon.

Jellen, that sounds like such a great tour. I would love to do something like that. I don't blame you in the least for keeping your bulbs in pots. I wouldn't want to lose any of my bulbs and they don't have near the meaning to me that yours do.

Here is a picture of some of the plants I had in my container garden on my deck this last summer. I have nasturtiums, geraniums, basil, peppers, eggplant, summer squash and a bunch of different alyssums growing.

I love this. You have quite the garden on your deck. I'm terrible with container gardening. I never can seem to water them correctly. I either drown them or don't water them enough. I guess I just need to practice.
