I have been to Germany a few times. I love to see pretty castles and find out about interesting history. I loved going to beautiful Bavaria to see the fairy tale castle and the one that looks like a palace. The Czech Republic also has many lovely castles.

Oh I would love to go there, if I get a chance. Are you talking about Neuschwanstein Castle? How far it is from Frankfurt and how should I commute? where do you stay, in Europe only?

This must have been a really awesome experience!! I have wanted to visit Germany for many years. My husband's ancestors are from Germany and I would like for one day....hopefully soon, to be able to take my children there.
The castles must have been beautiful. You are truly blessed to have had the opportunity to visit.

Yes, I have been to beautiful cities like Heidelburg, Frankfurt, Cologne, Munich, Berlin. They are all very grand and beautiful in their different ways. Yes, many beautiful castles. I also had a river cruise along the Rheine River, very scenic all along the cruise.

When I visited Germany, I dragged my Grandma round all the castles we came across. I like how there are so many grand ones. Back here in England, well my region, most of the Castles were basically Norman keeps so not overtly large. Though it is rather cool being able to see the top of the local one from my bed room window :D
