I just received a link for this...and thought it was worth passing on.
It is about the experiences of an airline agent - it gives un insight into knowing how people think and how little they know
"the man who wanted to ride inside the kennel with his dog so he wouldn't have to pay for a seat, from the woman who wanted to know why she had to change clothes on our flight between Chicago and Washington (she was told she'd have to make a change between the two cities)"
"a man in Minneapolis who didn't know there was more than one city in the South ("wherever the South is")"
"a woman who wanted to fly to Hippopotamus, NY. After assuring her that there was no such city, she became irate and said it was a big city with a big airport. I asked if Hippopotamus was near Albany or Syracuse. It wasn't. Then I asked if it was near Buffalo. "Buffalo!" she said. "I knew it was a big animal!"
"When I asked what city he wanted to go to in Illinois, he said, "Cleveland , Ohio."

Also, for you people in similar jobs or teachers who have had students write some what amusing things...please tell us about them

Oh these are so funny I can't stop laughing and I really needed a laugh about now.
I used to have a link for a site similar to this but can't seem to find it now.
For several years I published a weekly newsletter for our church women's group and one thing I used for 'filler' were 'things kids say'. One of my favorites is a Sunday school teacher asked a boy if he said a prayer before each meal. The little boy said no he didn't have to because his mom was a good cook.

Mom must have loved that little boy -- getting such a compliment.
I am glad you got a laugh out of it, we all need a good one from time to time.

I posted a bunch of them I used in the newsletter on my web site - I love some of the things kids say and as we had a lot of elderly women in the womens group they really got a laugh out of these too.
