Kumble has been proving that he is a capable and magnificent captain. Had he been given this job at an earlier stage he would have proved his capacity and talent. No doubt, he had made Indians to be proud and happy by taking Andrew Symons wicket in Australia yesterday. This is the 600th wicket and he is third in the world highest wicket taker.
I wonder whether it will be likely to fight Muthiah Muralidharan who is in the first place in wicket taking to cross his seven hundred marks because he age is such otherwise he would definitely achieve this target very easily. On the whole if we go into details of his performance in the field he has been outstanding as a player but also a gentleman and he is not in the habit of indulging in unnecessary arguments either with players or umpires.
It is unfair to realize the respect and support is given to batsmen not giving to bowlers. I think it was only the bowler and the all rounder Kapil dev is given a due respect all over India after this man no bowler is getting due respect.
Anyhow I hope my lot people will join me offering Kumble the heart felt congratulations on his 600th wicket haul.

The Karnataka state takes the credit not only for Kumble's feat, but having given great number of greatest spinners.
Kumble had received raw deal at the hands of selecttors. Probably this country has large number of competitive bowlers and batsmen, many talented vanished for want of recognition. Kumble like person if were to be in New Zealand or England, would have defintiely been included in the team as important member and would have secured more wickets.
I feel every Indian should feel pround of kumble's achievement and he deserves accolades from all.
